2024 grand marshals

We are honored to announce the 2024 Tempur Sealy Belmont Christmas Parade Grand Marshals—the family of the late Joe Credille.

Joe Credille was a beloved member of our community who cherished his family, friends, school, church, and neighbors. This October, Joe passed away after a brief illness, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire us all. As we celebrate this holiday season, we remember the remarkable life Joe led and the countless lives he touched.

Joe’s life was defined by his passion for service and his unwavering kindness, which he shared without ever seeking recognition. For 38 years, he dedicated himself to teaching at VoTech, forming meaningful relationships with thousands of students. He deeply valued education and firmly believed that with hard work and dedication, anyone could achieve their dreams. Joe often went above and beyond, teaching night classes and mentoring students to ensure their success. His greatest pride came from seeing others reach their goals.

In recent years, Joe served our community through Belmont Methodist Church and the South Tishomingo County Food Pantry. Alongside Mrs. Carolyn, he selflessly volunteered at nearly every food giveaway, demonstrating the love of Christ through his actions and his heart for service.

As we approach this special time of year, we feel the absence of loved ones like Joe. Yet, we also celebrate the love, kindness, and hope they shared with us. Let us honor Joe’s legacy by embracing the true spirit of the season—spending time with family, reflecting on our blessings, and showing kindness to all we meet, just as Joe did.

We look forward to celebrating the season together as a community and welcoming the family of Joe Credille as our Grand Marshals for the 2024 Tempur Sealy Belmont Christmas Parade.
